About your instructors…

Haley Mckee and Mita Coker are the owners and instructors at The Resusci-Taters.

Haley has held her Wilderness EMT-B & National Registry EMT since 2004. She has been teaching emergency medicine since 2007. Mita has held her Wilderness First Responder since 2017 and has been teaching emergency medicine since 2023.

The Resusci-Taters LLC is an Authorized Training Provider for Sierra Rescue International and an Authorized Training Center with the Emergency Care & Safety Institute.

Certification through Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) for CPR and First and Sierra Rescue International for Wilderness Medicine

ECSI is an internationally recognized certification is based on the scientific guidelines and protocols used by the American Heart Association (AHA), International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) 2015 Scientific Guidelines. ECSI CPR & First Aid certifications are OSHA approved.

ECSI and The Resusci-Taters are approved for childcare and adult care licensing, scout troops, dental offices, forest service, schools and more.

Sierra Rescue International is a leader in wilderness medicine instruction.  As independent contractors for SRI, we are proud to meet and exceed industry standards. As affiliates of the Wilderness Medicine Society, we follow the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative Standards for Wilderness Medicine Certifications. CPR included in all wilderness courses.
