Women-owned and operated.

Our other superhero capes are worn on the local rivers where we teach whitewater kayaking!

Mita teaches whitewater kayaking at Endless River Adventures and Haley teaches kayaking at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, both based in the Nantahala Gorge.

Certification through Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) for CPR and First and Sierra Rescue International for Wilderness Medicine

ECSI is an internationally recognized certification is based on the scientific guidelines and protocols used by the American Heart Association (AHA), International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) 2015 Scientific Guidelines. ECSI CPR & First Aid certifications are OSHA approved.

ECSI and The Resusci-Taters are approved for childcare and adult care licensing, scout troops, dental offices, forest service, schools and more.

Sierra Rescue International is a leader in wilderness medicine instruction.  As independent contractors for SRI, we are proud to meet and exceed industry standards. As affiliates of the Wilderness Medicine Society, we follow the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative Standards for Wilderness Medicine Certifications. CPR included in all wilderness courses.
