About us…

Haley Mckee and Mita Coker are the owners and instructors of “The Taters”

On the phone, by email, in class… We are proud of our business and here to get it right.

The Resusci-Taters is local to WNC.

Women-owned and operated.

Operating since August of 2023.

Our other superhero capes are worn on the local rivers where we teach whitewater kayaking! Mita teaches kayaking at Endless River Adventures and Haley teaches kayaking at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, both based in the Nantahala Gorge.

Haley started teaching CPR/FirstAid in Michigan for her mom’s business “Dummies on the Run” in 2007. After moving to WNC in 2023, she and Mita decided to open up The Resusci-Taters.

Why We’re Different

  • A Tater Of A Different Flavor to the Rescue!
